Im single and planning to move to Boston, is it possible to just use the Subways and taxis as transportation? What is your opinion?
Thanks for the responses, the reason why Im asking is because I was hoping to become a firefighter there, and really just wanted to get from an apartment, to a station, and back. And also to go to other basic places(i.e. Grocery store, or the movies, etc.)

‘m gonna be in Boston from the 26th to 30th of December to see some shows and it looks like it won’t be snowing at all, sadly. I live in LA, so I rarely get the chance to see some snow.
