Woof. Meow. Taking a Swipe at Fund-raising for the Mspca at the Gables, Abington

The Gables, a pet friendly condominium community located in Abington, Mass. is holding a Groom-a-thon in collaboration with Zoomin Groomin to raise money for the MSPCA (Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
The event will be held on Sunday, September 28, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at The Gables clubhouse on 200 Hampton Way in Abington, MA. All proceeds will be donated directly to the MSPCA. Additionally, the developers of The Gables will match all consumer donations. Grooming reservations must be made prior to the event. Please call toll-free# 866-50-GROOM (504-7666) to make a grooming reservation.
Zoomin Groomin groomers and mobile pet spas will be onsite to assist with the grooming of residents’ dogs and cats. The organization is donating their time and any voluntary contributions. Suggested donations for the grooming of each pet is $50 or $100.
“The Groom-a-thon event helps raise money for a great cause and gives our pets to be a bit of pampered,” commented Bisher Hashem, president of the Gables Development Corp. “We are delighted to help out.”
Jeff Loomis, the participating independent franchisee for Zoomin Groomin, added, “The MSPCA’s animal protection and veterinary medicine mission is worthy our of everyone’s time, effort and attention.”
